Spotify has launched a new “Listening Stats” feature that allows users to view their most-streamed artists and songs from the past four weeks, refreshed daily with the latest listening data. The feature is being rolled out to both free and premium users across more than 60 countries, giving listeners an always-updated view of their evolving music habits.
The feature provides a personalised playlist inspired by the tracks users listen to most, along with recommendations labelled “More like your top artists/songs.” Spotify also includes weekly highlights that celebrate user milestones, recent discoveries, or standout fan moments. These stats can be easily shared via messaging apps and social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Instagram.
Explaining the feature, Spotify said in a blog post: “This new feature shows your top artists and songs from the past four weeks and serves up playlists inspired by what you love or tracks you might want to queue up next. Each week, it includes a special highlight that captures what makes your listening unique — whether it’s a milestone, a new discovery, or a fan moment.”
Unlike Spotify Wrapped, which provides an annual summary of listening behaviour from the beginning of the year to around November, Listening Stats offers a continuous, real-time look at your music activity. It updates every 24 hours, ensuring users get insights that reflect their most recent listening trends rather than waiting for year-end recaps.
How to access Spotify Listening Stats:
Spotify’s new feature mirrors similar efforts from its rivals. Apple Music’s “Replay” offers monthly insights into top songs, artists, albums, and genres, while YouTube Music’s “Recap” delivers personalised summaries four times a year.
With Listening Stats, Spotify aims to give users a live, evolving view of their musical identity, making music tracking more interactive and engaging throughout the year.
