According to Downdetector data displayed in the screenshot, most users are reporting issues with the Spotify app. Around 93% of the complaints are related to the app not loading or failing to function as expected. About 6% of users face audio streaming problems, while 1% report issues with the website. The outage has caused users to experience abrupt disruptions when trying to stream music or access playlists.
What Downdetector data shows
The outage spiked sharply in the early hours, with Downdetector crossing 900 reports at peak. At around 1:57 AM on November 18, the chart shows 13 reports against a baseline of 10, followed by a rapid rise through the morning. The red outage curve indicates significantly higher-than-normal issues throughout the day, confirming a widespread disruption. Reports continued steadily into the afternoon, suggesting that users across regions were still experiencing problems.
