Amazon India claims to have delivered more than 41 crore items the Same Day or Next Day. According to Amazon, Prime members also saved on average over Rs 3,300 on fast, free delivery last year. Moreover, globally, Amazon Prime delivered over 9 billion units the same or next day around the world last year and members around the world saved nearly $95 billion on  fast, free delivery, claims Amazon.

For Prime members in India, Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, Snacks & Desserts, Beauty Products, Mobile Phones, Home décor and Fashion, are the most preferred categories for Same or Next-Day Delivery.

Amazon Prime claims to have increased the number of PIN codes serviced under Same Day/Next Day Delivery, by more than 11% in 2024, giving more and more customers across Indian towns and cities access to Prime benefits. Amazon says that Prime members get free, unlimited Same-Day Delivery on more than 10 lakh items and Next-Day Delivery on more than 40 lakh items on Amazon.in.

In India, Amazon Prime offers three membership options:

•Prime (Rs 1,499/year): Full shopping & entertainment benefits.

•Prime Lite (Rs 799/year): Full shopping benefits & limited Prime Video access.

•Prime Shopping Edition (Rs 299/year): Shopping & shipping benefits only (no entertainment).
