Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is clearly loving the new updates to Microsoft 365 Copilot. In a recent thread on X (formerly Twitter), he called Copilot the “scaffolding” of his workday and shared the four new features he’s been using the most.
Here’s a quick look at what Nadella finds most exciting—and how these features are changing the way he works.
Researcher and analyst
Nadella says the new Researcher and Analyst agents are now his go-to tools. Researcher helps gather and summarize information from the web and your company’s internal data. So whether you’re working on a report or trying to understand a new topic, it gives you clear, in-depth insights. Analyst, on the other hand, takes raw data from multiple sources and turns it into visuals, forecasts, and smart takeaways. And if that’s not enough, you can now find even more helpful agents in the new Agent Store—or even build your own using Copilot Studio.
Notebooks
Nadella says Notebooks have totally changed his workflow. The feature lets you collect all kinds of content—web pages, documents, meeting notes, and more—into one place for a specific project. Copilot then focuses only on that information, making it easier to stay on track. The best part is that you can turn it all into a quick audio summary, which Nadella says he uses to stay updated while on the go.
Smarter, unified search
Search has also gotten a big boost. Now, Copilot can pull information not just from Microsoft apps, but also from tools like Google Drive, Slack, Jira, and ServiceNow. It gives you a summarized answer and links to all the original sources. No more digging through multiple platforms to find what you need.
With features like these, it’s clear that Microsoft is trying to make AI feel less like a buzzword and more like a practical part of everyday work. And if Satya Nadella is using them daily, chances are they’re worth checking out.
