Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy F36 5G smartphone in India on July 19. The phone will be the newest addition to the Galaxy F-series, targeted at young consumers. Samsung says the device will offer a segment-first leather finish, a 50MP OIS triple rear camera, and several mobile AI features—all priced under Rs 20,000.
FeaturesThe Galaxy F36 5G will come with a 50MP primary sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), backed by Samsung’s Nightography technology to deliver improved low-light photography and stable videos. The triple camera setup is expected to enhance image clarity, especially in challenging lighting conditions.
Samsung is also integrating its mobile AI features into the F36 5G to offer enhanced photo and video editing capabilities. These on-device tools are aimed at helping users refine their content without relying on third-party apps. The company claims the AI features are in line with its broader push to democratize Galaxy AI across its product lineup.
Measuring just 7.7mm in thickness, the Galaxy F36 5G is designed to be slim and lightweight. It will be offered in three colour options, each with a faux leather back finish to appeal to younger audiences.
While complete hardware specifications are yet to be revealed, Samsung says the Galaxy F36 5G will be priced below Rs 20,000, making it one of the more affordable smartphones with OIS and AI-powered features in the Indian market.
With this launch, Samsung is looking to strengthen its leadership in India’s mid-range 5G segment. The company recently highlighted that Galaxy AI features are now being made available across more devices and price points in its portfolio.
The Galaxy F36 5G will be officially unveiled on July 19.
