Key Android 16 feature integration
One UI 8 will include Android 16’s Live Updates feature, which allows compatible apps—like cab booking, food delivery, and e-commerce—to display real-time status on the lock screen via the Now Bar. The update will also bring Advanced Protection for enhanced security against harmful apps, websites, and scam calls. A new anti-theft feature will help make stolen Samsung devices unusable, even after a factory reset.
