Samsung might launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in India next month, according to tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd). While Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed it, leaks suggest a possible April 16 launch. However, the phone may only be available in limited regions. Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S25 series globally, the series include the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Plus and the Galaxy S25.
What to expect?
Samsung first showed off the Galaxy S25 Edge at its Unpacked event in January, followed by MWC 2025. The phone is slim and stylish, measures only 8.3mm thick near the camera.
It is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, like the other S25 models. The phone may come with 12GB RAM and a 6.66-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth performance. It is also likely to have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for better durability.
The phone may come with a dual-camera setup, which can include a 200MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens. It could pack a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
The smartphone will likely run on Android 15-based One UI 7, the S25 Edge is also expected to support Galaxy AI features. It might be lightweight, weighing around 162 grams.
