Samsung Electronics has announced its 2026 OLED TV range and next-generation Odyssey gaming monitors with NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility. The company says the move is aimed at improving gaming stability by synchronising display refresh rates with supported graphics cards. The announcement covers both large-screen OLED televisions and high-refresh-rate gaming monitors, addressing PC and console gamers looking for reduced screen tearing and stutter.
According to Samsung, the 2026 OLED TV lineup and select Odyssey monitors have been certified as G-SYNC Compatible, allowing displays to match the frame output of supported GPUs. The company positions the update as part of its broader push to strengthen gaming-focused features across its TV and monitor portfolio.
OLED TV lineup and gaming features
Samsung confirmed that the 2026 OLED TV series, including the S95H, S90H and S85H models, will support varying refresh rates depending on the model. The S95H and S90H support refresh rates of up to 165Hz, while the S85H supports up to 120Hz. All three models are listed as NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible.
Alongside G-SYNC, the OLED TVs also support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro on select models, allowing compatibility across a wider range of gaming hardware. Samsung has also introduced HDR10+ Advanced across the 2026 OLED TV lineup. The company says this format is designed to manage brightness, contrast and colour data on a scene-by-scene basis during supported content playback.
Selected models, including the S95H and S90H, feature Samsung’s glare reduction technology, which is intended to minimise reflections during viewing and gaming sessions.
Odyssey G6 monitors and refresh rates
In the monitor segment, Samsung highlighted the Odyssey G6 gaming monitors. The 27-inch Odyssey G6 (G60H) supports a dual operating mode, allowing users to switch between HD resolution at up to 1,040Hz and native QHD resolution at up to 600Hz. Samsung states that the highest refresh rate is available only in HD mode.
Another 27-inch model, the Odyssey G6 (G61SH), features a QD-OLED panel with QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. The monitor has a claimed 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time and supports HDR10+ Gaming.
Both Odyssey G6 variants are confirmed to be NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, with Samsung stating that the monitors are intended for users prioritising either high frame rates or higher resolution gaming.
Availability
Samsung has not shared region-wise pricing or availability details for the 2026 OLED TVs and Odyssey G6 monitors at the time of announcement. The company says more information will be shared closer to market availability.
