Samsung is reportedly gearing up to introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone soon. It is tipped to be the slimmest smartphone ever from the South Korean tech giant. The device has been teased by the company in the past few months, and new reports suggest that it will be globally unveiled in April, with availability expected to begin in early May.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Here’s what we know so far
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the model number SM-S937N. The device scored 2,969 points in the single-core test and 9,486 points in the multi-core test. Its motherboard bears the codename ‘sun,’ confirming the presence of the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The benchmark results also suggest that the Galaxy S25 Edge will come with 12GB of RAM.
Further, according to a recent report from the South Korean outlet Seoul Economic Daily, Samsung may unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge on April 16. Moreover, an Android Headlines report recently confirmed that the smartphone will be priced between EUR 1,200 (around Rs 1,13,400) and EUR 1,300 (around Rs 1,22,900) in Europe for the 256GB and 512GB storage variants respectively.
Additionally, the S25 Edge is expected to be 5.84mm slim and weigh under 162 grams, making it one of the sleekest premium phones in the market. The company is also expected to use a titanium frame that will enhance its durability. In terms of optics, the Galaxy S25 Edge is tipped to get a 200MP primary sensor along with a 50MP ultra-wide lens. We can also expect a 12MP front camera for selfies. Lastly, we can expect a 3,900mAh battery with this device.
