Ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, Samsung has confirmed that it will introduce two new larger sizes for the Galaxy Ring along with expanded sleep tracking capabilities via the Samsung Health app. The Galaxy Ring will now range from sizes 5 to 15, with the new sizes (14 and 15) available starting January 22. Additionally, the wearable will be available in 15 new markets starting in February, increasing its global presence to 53 regions.
New features in Samsung HealthSamsung is also updating its Health app to include enhanced sleep-tracking features. These updates aim to provide users with more actionable insights and tools for improving their sleep:
Sleep environment report: Analyses factors such as room temperature, humidity, air quality, and light intensity. In collaboration with SmartThings, the app provides recommendations for optimizing sleep conditions and can automatically adjust room settings.
Sleep Time Guidance: Suggests ideal bedtimes based on individual sleep patterns, daily routines, and habits.
Mindfulness Tracker: Allows users to monitor their moods and access guides for breathing exercises and meditations to support mental health and better sleep.
Availability and expansionSince its global launch in July 2024, the Galaxy Ring has been available in 38 markets, including the US, UK, India, and Germany. In February, it will expand to 15 additional markets, including Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Africa.
The Galaxy Ring will be offered in three colours—Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold—and now supports 11 sizes. Customers can find the right size using a free sizing kit available on Samsung’s website or by visiting retail outlets.
