Samsung has introduced the Galaxy F56 5G smartphone in India. It arrives as the successor to the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G that was introduced in May last year. Measuring just 7.2mm in thickness, the Galaxy F56 5G is the slimmest smartphone in the Galaxy F lineup, and features a 120Hz AMOLED+ screen, 50MP camera, and Exynos 1480 chipset.

Samsung Galaxy F56 5G: Price, availability

The Samsung Galaxy F56 5G has a starting price of Rs 27,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is available in another storage configuration with 256GB storage priced at Rs 28,999. It will be available from Samsung India’s online store, other online retailers, and offline retail stores.

As a part of introductory offers, the company is including a bank-based discount of Rs. 2,000. It is available in Green and Violet colour options.

Samsung Galaxy F56 5G: Specifications, features

The Samsung Galaxy F56 5G comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers 1200 nits brightness, which is slightly higher than Galaxy F55’s 1000 nits peak brightness. Further, it has a 7.2mm. The Galaxy F56 5G is powered by the Exynos 1480 processor paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.

For optics, the Galaxy F56 5G offers a triple rear camera unit headlined by a 50MP main sensor with support for OIS. On the front, it has a 12MP HDR selfie camera. The camera setup supports multiple AI imaging features like object eraser and various editing tools. Samsung has packed a 5,000mAh battery on the Galaxy F56 5G with 45W fast charging support.
