Samsung has launched the Galaxy F36 5G in India, further expanding its F-series portfolio. Targeted at consumers looking for a feature-rich device under Rs 20,000, the new smartphone offers a Super AMOLED display, an Exynos chipset, and AI-powered tools like Circle to Search and Gemini Live.

The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is available in two variants. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 17,499, while the higher-end version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 18,999. The device will be up for purchase starting July 29 at 12 PM via Flipkart and Samsung’s official online store. It will come in three colour options — Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black.

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added durability. Powering the phone is Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with Mali-G68 MP5 GPU for handling graphics. It also includes a vapour chamber cooling system to manage heat during heavy use.
On the back, the Galaxy F36 5G houses a triple camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and support for 4K video recording. This is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, users get a 13MP selfie shooter that also supports 4K video capture.
The phone runs Android 15-based One UI 7 and Samsung promises six generations of Android OS upgrades along with seven years of security updates. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and supports 25W fast charging via USB Type-C.
Samsung is also adding several AI-based features to the Galaxy F36 5G, including Google’s Circle to Search, Gemini Live, AI Edit suggestions, Object Eraser, and Image Clipper. These tools are designed to enhance productivity, search, and photo editing experiences on the device.
