Galaxy F16 5G launched in India in three colour options, MTK6300 processor and 5000mAh battery

Soon after announcing the Galaxy F06 5G, Samsung further expanded its F series lineup with the launch of the Galaxy F16 5G smartphone in India. The handset comes as the successor to last year's Galaxy F15 5G, and it bringsan  updated design, processor, features and more.

The key highlights of the all-new Galaxy F16 5G smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300SoC along qwith 5000mAh battery and One UI 7 update based on Android 15.

Samsung Galaxy F16 5G price and availability

Samsung has launched the Galaxy F16 5G at a starting price of Rs 11,499, including bank offers. The smartphone will go on sale from March 13, 12 p.m. onwards. The handset comes in three colour options: Bling Black, Glam Green, and Bibing Blue.

Samsung Galaxy F16 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 1,080 x 2,340 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. The device offers 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1.5TB via microSD card. It runs on Android 15-based One UI 7 and is guaranteed six major OS upgrades along with six years of security updates.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy F16 5G is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor on the rear. The front houses a 13-megapixel selfie camera.

The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 191g.
