Samsung is preparing to introduce the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 in India on March 2. Ahead of the official announcement, a listing from a Nigerian retailer has reportedly disclosed pricing and pre-order benefits. Both models are expected to feature 8GB RAM and storage options up to 256GB. The Galaxy A56 is anticipated to be powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, while both smartphones may include a 50-megapixel triple camera setup at the rear.
Leaked pricing in Nigeria
As per a post by Nigerian retailer Pointekonline on Threads, the Galaxy A56 is listed at NGN 5,65,000 (approximately Rs. 32,000) for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at NGN 6,04,000 (around Rs. 35,000). The Galaxy A36 is said to cost NGN 4,46,000 (roughly Rs. 25,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version is listed at NGN 5,19,000 (around Rs. 30,000).
Pre-order details
According to the retailer, pre-orders for the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 began on February 26 in Nigeria and will remain open until March 12. Customers placing a pre-order may receive a free adapter, a Galaxy Fit 3, and a premium case. The listing also indicates that a deposit of NGN 1,00,000 (about Rs. 5,000) is required to reserve a device.
Expected specifications
Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 specifications. However, reports suggest that the Exynos 1580 chipset will power the Galaxy A56, while the Galaxy A36 may come with either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. Both phones are expected to support 45W wired fast charging and receive six years of software updates. The devices may also feature a 50-megapixel triple rear camera system.
