Samsung has started teasing its upcoming entry-level smartphone, the Galaxy F06, which is scheduled to launch this week. It is set to arrive in two colour options and will be sold via Flipkart and Samsung's stores. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer has also revealed several details of the device, including its key specifications, memory variants, software features and expected price.

Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy F06 5G is arriving in India on February 12 and has placed a dedicated microsite on the e-commerce platform Flipkart. The handset will be unveiled at 12PM IST, and it will go on sale via the company's retail stores as well. Further, the Flipkart landing page has also confirmed that the Galaxy F06 5G will be priced between Rs. 9,000 and Rs. 9,999 and will be available in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet colour options.

If we talk about the specs of the smartphone, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F06 is tipped to sport a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen with up to 800nits peak brightness and a waterdrop-style display cutout for the selfie camera. Moreover, Samsung has confirmed that the phone will be equipped with the Dimensity 6300 SoC, along with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of inbuilt storage.

The company has also confirmed that the phone will have a 50MP primary camera. It will also come with an 8MP selfie camera and Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy F06 will receive four years of Android OS upgrades and security updates. Moreover, the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery and support 25W wired charging.
