Xiaomi’s next mid-range refresh appears to be close, as reports indicate that the Redmi Note 15 series could launch in India on January 6, 2026. Tipsters Yogesh Brar and Abhishek Yadav suggest that Xiaomi may follow a staggered rollout, beginning with the standard Redmi Note 15 before introducing the Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro Plus variants. Xiaomi has not issued an official confirmation yet.
Expected featuresEarly information hints at several upgrades for the base Redmi Note 15. The smartphone may feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor running with HyperOS 2.
Battery capacity is rumoured to exceed 5500mAh, paired with 45W fast charging. The model may also include an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. For optics, leaks mention a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 20MP front camera. The phone is also expected to weigh around 170 grams.
For the higher-end variants, the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro Plus may use a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with the same 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro Plus is tipped to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, while the Pro could come with the Dimensity 7400 Ultra. Both may include Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an IP68 rating. Camera setups may include a 200MP main sensor with an 8MP ultrawide. Battery capacity is expected to reach around 6500mAh on the Pro Plus.
Expected price in IndiaReports suggest that the Redmi Note 15 could be priced around Rs 20,000. The Note 15 Pro may fall in the Rs 27,000–30,000 bracket, while the Pro Plus variant may reach about Rs 35,000.
