Xiaomi India has unveiled a brand-new logo and identity for its popular Redmi smartphone series. Redmi is now REDMI.

The rebranding comes after more than a decade of Redmi being a trusted name in the Indian smartphone market. The company says the refreshed logo is bold, confident, and built to reflect the energy of today’s youth.

Sudhin Mathur, Chief Operating Officer at Xiaomi India, shared that this isn’t just a logo change. “Redmi has always been about making the impossible possible,” he said. “We were often the first smartphone for millions of Indians. Now, as our users have grown, so have we. This new identity is about growing together with our community.”

He added that the brand’s new look is a tribute to the clarity, resilience, and progress of today’s young India, people who are not afraid to dream big while staying true to themselves.

Over the years, REDMI has made a mark with affordable and feature-packed phones like the Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 10 series, and more recently, the Redmi 12 5G and 13 5G. These phones helped the brand become a favourite among first-time smartphone users and those looking for solid value.

Now, with the new logo in place, REDMI is all set to launch its next big product, the Redmi Note 15 series, on August 19, 2025. It will be the first major release under the updated brand identity.
