Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is scheduled to introduce the Redmi 15C 5G in India this week. The dedicated microsite for the handset on Amazon has recently gone live. Now, the page has revealed some key specifications of this upcoming smartphone, including the chipset, battery, and display details. Moreover, the Redmi 15C 5G is also confirmed to be available in three colour options.
Redmi 15C 5G: Expected specifications, design, price
Earlier this week, Redmi updated the dedicated microsite for its upcoming Redmi 15C 5G smartphone, confirming its various key specifications. The handset is confirmed to come with a 6,000mAh battery, which is claimed to offer “multiple-day usage”. Moreover, the brand has also revealed that its battery will function at 80% capacity even after 1,000 charge cycles.
On the front, the phone is confirmed to have a large 6.9-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and TUV Rheinland certification for eye comfort. In terms of optics, the Indian variant is revealed to come with a 50MP main camera, and the handset will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. Moreover, the phone will boot with HyperOS 2 out of the box, which will come with multiple AI features.
The microsite also reveals that the Redmi 15C 5G will launch in India on December 3. Last week, a tipster had leaked the pricing of the handset, and confirmed that it will be offered in three RAM and storage variants. The base variant of the Redmi 15C 5G with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage is expected to be available for Rs 12,499. Meanwhile, the 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB variants will reportedly cost Rs 13,999 and Rs 14,999, respectively.
