Realme is gearing up to bring its GT 7 series to the Indian market, weeks after the GT 7 made its debut in China. The company had officially teased the India launch, dropping a promotional post on X (formerly Twitter) with the tagline “Power that never stops.” Now, in another post, the company has confirmed that the phone will see a global launch on May 27.
The Realme GT 7 series is expected to include at least two models: the standard GT 7 and a GT 7T variant. Both devices were recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site, under the model numbers RMX5061 and RMX5085, respectively.

A dedicated Amazon microsite confirms that the GT 7 series has been co-tested with Krafton — the studio behind Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Realme claims the phones are capable of delivering up to six hours of sustained 120 fps gameplay in BGMI, reinforcing the brand’s positioning of this series as a gaming powerhouse.
While official specifications are still under wraps, the GT 7 and GT 7T are likely to sit just below the GT 7 Pro, which launched last November. That model featured a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a focus on thermal management, performance tuning, and visual fidelity — expectations that the upcoming phones will aim to meet or extend.
With teasers dropping and certifications surfacing, the GT 7 series appears set for an early summer launch in India.
