PUBG Mobile has rolled out its Version 4.0 update, headlined by the Spooky Soiree mode. The new version introduces themed maps, refreshed events, updated weapon balance, and several quality-of-life improvements. The update is being released globally and is available for download on both Android and iOS platforms.

Spooky Soiree Mode
The highlight of the update is the Spooky Soiree mode, running until November 11, 2025. Players can enter the “Haunted Mansion” area within Erangel, Livik, and Miramar, where they will face new mechanics, floating platforms, and themed challenges. The mode also includes Pumpkin Zombies and the Pumpkin Monster boss fight, offering exclusive rewards when defeated.

New Content and Features
In addition to Spooky Soiree, the update introduces a revamped Metro Royale Chapter 22 with adjusted missions and resources. The World of Wonder mode gets enhancements with new building tools and creative options. Cycle 7 Season 22 begins alongside the update, bringing ranked rewards, updated tiers, and title system adjustments.

Players can also access an upgraded Spectator Mode, improved training ground options, and better in-match reporting systems.

Events and Rewards
To celebrate the update, PUBG Mobile is hosting themed events where players can collect Soiree Candies and exchange them for limited-time items. Login bonuses, mission rewards, and seasonal cosmetics are also part of the rollout.

The developers have rebalanced a few weapons, including adjustments to the DBS shotgun and bolt-action rifles, ensuring fairer gameplay. Vehicles receive handling tweaks, while the user interface has been streamlined for smoother navigation.

Other Improvements
The update optimizes graphics, network stability, and security systems. Players on mid-range devices should see smoother frame rates, while anti-cheat mechanisms have been strengthened. Social features have also been refreshed, allowing easier team formation and friend interactions.

PUBG Mobile’s Version 4.0 update underlines Tencent and Krafton’s strategy of keeping seasonal content engaging with fresh themes and limited-time challenges.
