Poco F7 with 7,550mAh battery expected to launch this month

After introducing the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra for the global market, Chinese smartphone brand Poco is now preparing to launch the Poco F7. A new report has leaked the key features and specifications of the purported smartphone alongside its launch timeline. Moreover, the global and Indian variants of the Poco F7 are expected to come with different battery capacities.

Poco F7: Expected release timeline, specifications

According to a report by Smartprix, the Poco F7 will launch in the third week of June globally, possibly on June 17 or June 19. It is also tipped to launch in India on the same date. The report also claims that the device will have similar specifications to the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which was launched in China in April.

This means that the Poco F7 could be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, along with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. Further, it could feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The report also adds that the Indian variant is expected to feature a 7,550 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, which is significantly larger than the global variant, which would likely come with a 6,550 mAh battery pack.

If we talk about cameras, the Poco F7 is expected to have a dual rear camera unit, comprising a 50MP primary rear sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens. At the front, the phone will likely have a 20MP camera sensor. Further, the device could run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.
