Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has introduced the Poco F7 smartphone in India. It succeeds the Poco F7 and Poco F7 Ultra, which were introduced earlier this year in global markets. Further, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 6,000mm sq vapour cooling chamber, and runs Xiaomi's HyperOS 2.0. The phone is also claimed to meet IP66+IP68+IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Interestingly, the Poco F7 5G Indian variant has a 7,550mAh battery, while the global version houses a 6,500mAh battery.
Poco F7: Price, availability
The Poco F7 has a starting price of Rs 31,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option. It is also available in a 12GB + 512GB variant, priced at Rs 33,999. The handset will be available for purchase via Flipkart starting July 1. It comes in Cyber Silver Edition, Frost White, and Phantom Black colour options. As a part of the launch offers, Poco is offering an additional Rs 2,000 off on selected banks' credit and debit card transactions.

The Poco F7 comes with a 6.83-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate support. The screen offers up to 3,200 nits of brightness, HDR10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS4.1 onboard storage.
Further, the Poco F7 ships with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 and is promised to receive four years of major OS upgrades and six years of security updates. In the camera department, the smartphone gets a dual rear camera unit with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide shooter. There's a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Moreover, the Poco F7 packs a large 7,550mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging support. It also houses an aluminium middle frame and a glass back panel. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port.
