Peak XV Partners managing director Shailendra Singh has joined the board of directors of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), an industry body that fosters public-private sector cooperation in the United States and India.
This strategic association is expected to help help Peak XV, the erstwhile India and Southeast Asia arm of Sequoia Capital, strengthen its presence in the US, opening doors for its 100 plus cross border companies building from India/SEA for the US markets.
Other notable business leaders who have joined the USISPF Board in 2024 include Salil Parekh, CEO, Infosys; Arvind Krishna, Chairman and CEO of IBM; and Prashant Ruia, Director, Essar Capital, among others.
"I look forward to collaborating with fellow board members and leveraging our collective expertise to further strengthen the relationship between the United States and India for founders and startups across both regions," said Shailendra Singh.
Peak XV is the largest VC firm in the region with $9 billion in assets under management.
