Oppo has announced that the Reno 14F 5G Star Wars Dark Side edition will be launched in Mexico this week. It will be a special edition of the June 2025-launched Oppo Reno 14F and is expected to offer certain design changes, and is revealed to show courtesy to the Star Wars movie antagonist, Darth Vader. However, other design elements, such as the rear camera module island and the screen size, are expected to remain the same.
Oppo Reno 14F 5G Star Wars edition: Launch date, design
Through a new post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Oppo has announced that the Oppo Reno 14F 5G Star Wars Dark Side special edition will launch in Mexico on November 15. Moreover, the Oppo Mexico website has also revealed the rear design of this upcoming limited edition handset.
The Oppo Reno 14F 5G Star Wars edition appears to have the same design as the regular Reno 14F 5G but adds some special touches. The back panel features Darth Vader’s image, with a bold and dark theme that perfectly syncs with the Star Wars universe theme. The upcoming Oppo Reno 14F 5G Star Wars Edition will also come with an ‘exclusive limited edition collector's box,’ alongside a Darth Vader SIM ejector tool and a Death Star II phone stand.
The rest of the specifications of the Oppo Reno 14F 5G Star Wars edition are expected to remain the same. To recall, the Reno 14F 5G comes with a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ OLED display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
