Earlier this year, in January, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo introduced the Reno 13 series in India, consisting of the Reno 13 and the Reno 13 Pro. However, now just a few months later, Oppo is getting ready to release the Reno 14 Pro, which promises powerful performance with a stylish appearance. In a recent report, a design render of the purported Oppo Reno 14 Pro alongside some key hardware and software information has been revealed.
Oppo Reno 14 Pro: Expected back design
A design render shared by Smartprix of the upcoming Oppo Reno 14 Pro reveals that the smartphone will have a similar back design to its predecessor with a different camera module. While the Reno 13 Pro had the three cameras located in separate camera rings, the next-gen Reno model could feature a slightly tweaked layout. We can expect two vertically stacked camera lenses housing the main and ultra-wide lenses, while the other optical periscope camera is located to the right, above the LED flash.
Oppo Reno 14 Pro: Expected specifications, launch date
Further, according to the same publication, the Oppo Reno 14 Pro will run on ColorOS 15 with Android 15 on top. It is expected to have a flat OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is a big change from the quad curve display on Reno1 3 Pro. Moreover, the triple camera setup at the back could comprise a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
Other details of the smartphone are still awaited, but the Reno 14 Pro is tipped to have a new 'Magic Cube' button, which could perform similarly to Apple's Action Button on the latest iPhones. The report also claims that the Oppo Reno 14 Pro will launch in India in “June or July" after its initial unveiling in China next month.
