Oppo has officially introduced the A5x 5G in India, aiming squarely at budget-conscious buyers looking for 5G performance and premium-like durability. Priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, the phone goes on sale May 25 via Flipkart in two shades—Midnight Blue and Laser White. Early buyers can snag Rs 1,000 instant cashback and no-cost EMI options from select banks.

It features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness, promising solid outdoor legibility. The display also includes Oppo’s Splash and Glove Touch tech, so wet fingers or gloves won’t slow you down.

Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC—built on a 6nm process—paired with up to 4GB of RAM (plus 4GB virtual) and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A Trinity Engine software layer promises smarter power and performance optimisation.
