Oppo has announced the Find X8 Ultra as its flagship offering for 2025 in China. The device features enhancements in imaging, performance, and design, positioning it as a premium contender in the global smartphone race. While the device is currently limited to the Chinese market, it brings significant upgrades over the Find X7 Ultra.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Price in China
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra starts at CNY 6,499 (approx. Rs 76,000) for the 12GB+256GB variant. The 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB versions are priced at CNY 6,999 (approx. Rs 82,000) and CNY 7,999 (approx. Rs 94,000), respectively. Sales begin April 16 in China.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Design and Display
The Find X8 Ultra is slimmer than its predecessor at 8.78mm and offers IP68 and IP69 certification. The device retains the 6.82-inch LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 3168x1440 pixels, 1-120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,600 nits.

Oppo has introduced two enhanced periscope cameras: a 50MP 3x telephoto with a brighter f/2.1 aperture and a 50MP 6x zoom with a larger sensor and improved optics. The main camera remains the 1-inch 50MP Sony LYT900 sensor, while the ultrawide has been downgraded. A new True Chroma sensor helps with accurate color rendering, supported by the HyperTone and ProXDR image processing engines.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra: Performance and battery
The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. A 6,100mAh silicon-carbon battery powers the phone, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It includes a Shortcut button and Quick button for customizable controls, runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, and supports Dolby Vision video capture at 4K 120fps.
