The Oppo F31 series is all set to be launched in India next week, as the successor to the Oppo F29 series. The company claims all three devices in the lineup will have a durable form factor, long battery life, and a strikingly impressive design. The phones have a tagline, ‘Durable Champion,’ suggesting that there might be a big emphasis on durability, with the phones set to come in multiple colour options.
Oppo F31 series: India launch date, expected specifications
Through a press release and a post on the social media platform X, Oppo has announced that its upcoming F31 series will be launched on September 15. The company has teased a few details of the lineup, which will include the Oppo F31, Oppo F31 Pro, and Oppo F31 Pro+. Moreover, according to recent rumours and reports, the Oppo F31 will have a starting price of less than Rs 20,000, while the F31 Pro and F31 Pro+ may be priced under Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000, respectively.
All the devices are said to get IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. This means they will be able to handle submersion, high-pressure water jets, and even extreme environments. Moreover, Oppo has revealed that these smartphones will come with military grade durability and a 7000 mAh battery alongside 80W SuperVOOC charging.
Previous leaks have claimed that the Oppo F31 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Meanwhile, the Oppo F31 Pro could be backed by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip. Lastly, the F31 Pro+ is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. We should know more details about the phones in the coming days, before they are officially unveiled in a week.
