After launching it in China last year, Oppo is now gearing up to introduce the A5 Pro 5G in India soon. The Chinese smartphone brand has officially confirmed the launch date of this device, and it’s designed with a focus on durability, aiming to bring enhanced resilience features, previously highlighted in Oppo’s F series. Further, the company has confirmed a few features and specifications of the smartphone as well.

OPPO has announced that the OPPO A5 Pro 5G will launch in India on April 24, 2025. This new device will join OPPO’s A Series lineup and will be a more rugged option within the brand’s mainstream lineup. The device is confirmed to come with an IP69 rating, providing improved resistance against dust ingress and protection against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.

Powering the A5 Pro 5G is a 5800mAh battery, which the company is pairing with a 45W SUPERVOOC fast charger. It is also confirmed to come with a damage-proof 360-degree armour body to provide greater drop resistance. Additionally, the device gets a 200% Network Boost feature for seamless connectivity in challenging environments.

As per leaks and rumours, the Oppo A5 Pro 5G is expected to have a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is also likely to be powered by the Dimensity 6300 processor. In terms of optics, the A5 Pro 5G might have a 50MP rear camera, along with a 2MP monochrome camera and an 8MP front camera.
