OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. Leaks from a credible Chinese tipster have revealed key specifications of this upcoming OnePlus tablet, suggesting it could be the most advanced Android tablet from the company yet. Moreover, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is likely to be introduced in the Chinese market by mid-2025.
OnePlus Pad 2 Pro: Expected specifications
A recent post on Weibo by Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will be powered by the latest octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The tipster adds that this OnePlus tablet is anticipated to focus on gaming and e-sports, positioning itself as a high-performance device. Moreover, the tablet is likely to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options reaching up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 for faster data processing and smooth gaming.
In terms of display, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is tipped to feature a big upgrade, as the tipster has mentioned that the device will have a custom 13.2-inch LCD screen with a 3.4K resolution, promising a sharp and vivid viewing experience. Previous leaks have also tipped that the display will come with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 600 nits brightness level, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is expected to come with a 13MP rear camera unit and an 8MP selfie shooter, similar to the OnePlus Pad 2. The tipster also adds that the upcoming tablet will house a 10,000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities of either 67W or 80W
