OnePlus introduced the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in December last year, and the brand is now gearing up to introduce two new smartphones in this lineup. These purported devices are expected to be the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition smartphones, and a Chinese tipster has leaked details of the chipsets that are expected to power these smartphones.
OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, Ace 5 Supreme Edition: Processor details
At the recent OnePlus 13T launch event in China, the company’s president revealed that the brand plans to unveil new Ace-branded smartphones in May. Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has now shared details about these smartphones, including their processor details. The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition will be the first to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor, which is scheduled to be announced by MediaTek soon, and will succeed the Dimensity 9300+.
This chipset is also expected to surpass the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and will be built on TSMC's 4nm process. Moreover, in a separate post, stated that the Ace 5 Racing Edition will feature a 6.77-inch LTPS flat display with an integrated optical fingerprint scanner. Moreover, this smartphone is tipped to launch alongside the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition, which should be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition is rumoured to feature a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor. It is also likely to feature a 16MP selfie camera and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
