
OnePlus 15T has confirmed that its next flagship compact smartphone, the OnePlus 15T, is scheduled to be launched in China next week. The tech firm has been teasing various details about this upcoming phone, including its key specifications, design details, and the accessories that it will support. The company has showcased three new accessories that will be introduced with the OnePlus 15T. Moreover, we also now know the processor that will power the OnePlus 15T and the Wi-Fi chip inside it.
OnePlus 15T: Launch date, key specifications, accessories support
OnePlus has revealed that the OnePlus 15T will launch in China on March 24. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and will come in various models with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Like its predecessor, the device will sport a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a faster 165Hz refresh rate. This display is teased to come with rounded corners and slim 1.1mm bezels, giving a refined look. The phone will also feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
The OnePlus 15T is also confirmed to be backed by a 7,500mAh Glacier Battery, which is claimed to offer about 10.3 hours of gaming, about 22.8 hours of online video playback, or 13 hours of navigation on a single charge. The phone will support 100W SuperVOOC wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. In terms of optics, the OnePlus 15T is confirmed to come with a rear periscope telephoto camera lens that would help in taking better portrait and zoom shots.
OnePlus has also showcased a range of magnetic accessories designed for the device. These include a couple of cooling fans and magnetic chargers. All of these accessories, alongside the main smartphone, are now up for pre-order in China. Like the OnePlus 13s, the OnePlus 15T could be rebadged as the OnePlus 15s for India and other global markets.
