A couple of days ago, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 13T smartphone in China and soon after that, the company announced the India launch of the OnePlus 13s smartphone via the official website and Amazon listing. OnePlus India has also confirmed the same via a post on the social media platform X.
OnePlus 13s India launch confirmed
OnePlus has made the posters and microsite live on its India website. The exact launch date has not been disclosed yet, the Amazon microsite confirms that the OnePlus 13s will be available through the platform.
The listing also reveals that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, ensuring top-end performance for users looking for a compact flagship experience.
Specifications and features
The OnePlus 13s will feature a 6.32-inch flat OLED panel with a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels and a pixel density of 460ppi. The display will offer 10-bit colour depth, a 120Hz refresh rate, and support for DCI-P3, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision for an enhanced viewing experience.
Under the hood, the device will come equipped with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage technology, promising faster app loading and multitasking. In terms of photography, the OnePlus 13s will house a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The phone is expected to ship with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 in India. Powering the device will be a large 6260mAh “glacier battery,” a notable first for compact smartphones, supported by 80w fast charging. Despite the larger battery, the phone will maintain a lightweight profile at just 185 grams.
With the Amazon microsite now live and official teasers being shared, the launch of the OnePlus 13s appears to be just around the corner. More information, including the pricing and sale date, is likely to be announced soon.
