Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has just shared a surprisingly simple trick to get the best out of artificial intelligence, just talk to it like a person.
Speaking at London Tech Week, Huang said programming AI no longer means learning complex coding languages like Python or C++. Instead, it now comes down to one thing everyone already knows: human language.
“We used to need to learn programming, design complex computers, and understand code,” Huang explained. “But now, there’s a new programming language — and it’s called ‘human’.”
According to him, that’s the beauty of modern AI. Anyone can use it. You don’t need to be a tech expert. You just need to know how to ask — politely.
“The way you program an AI today is the same way you’d ask a person to do something,” he said. “If you want it to write a program, generate an image, or even write a poem, just ask nicely.”
Huang gave a fun example of how to talk to AI:“You say, ‘You are an incredible poet, deeply inspired by Shakespeare. Please write a poem about today’s keynote.’” And just like that, the AI gets it done.
He called AI a “great equalizer,” since anyone not just coders can now create and interact with powerful tech using simple words.
So next time you’re using ChatGPT or any AI tool, take a tip from Huang: be clear, be kind, and treat it like a smart friend who just happens to know a lot.
Turns out, a little politeness goes a long way even with machines.
