Oji claims to be India’s first interoperable mobility app that consolidates all ridesharing options in one place.

Passengers across the country no longer need to check multiple ride-hailing apps to compare fares.

Bengaluru-based Stepzero Labs has unveiled oJi Cabs, founded by Anmol Sharma and Yash Garg.

“Instead of switching between different apps to find the best ride, users can use Oji to find the best deal, save time, and avoid frustration. It provides real-time updates, fare comparisons, and easy booking, making ride-hailing smoother and more convenient for everyone,” Sharma told Moneycontrol.

oJi has partnered with multiple aggregators such as Ola, Rapido, Namma Yatri, BluSmart, and Nagara Metered Auto. oJi is available on Google Play Store and will be available on iOS soon.

"The platform is free for end users. We charge a small service fee from our partner aggregators and will soon be charging buyer finder fees from ONDC partners. We are still in the integration phase of ONDC and will soon be live as the first interoperable mobility buyer app," Sharma said.

"Users can book rides directly on Oji from QuicReach, Bhoogol, and Nagara Metered Auto. People can also discover prices for Ola, Rapido, BluSmart, and Namma Yatri directly on the oJi app" said Garg.

Sources also said that people will soon be able to book from all ONDC apps like NammaYatri, Yaary, and O Rickshaw.

The startup is exploring partnerships with other services to provide a comprehensive solution for our users. “We are exploring ways to facilitate booking for all the providers on oJi itself. We have integrated Nagara, Ola, Rapido, BluSmart, NammaYatri, and Bhoogol and will onboard Shoffr and QuickRide soon,” Sharma said.

oJi also plans to expand into a Mobility as a Service (MaaS) platform, allowing users to purchase metro and bus tickets through the app.

"All new providers often need help finding customers and efficiently deploying their resources, leading to supply inconsistencies and user uninstalls. Oji offers them a platform that provides a level playing field. Our partner aggregators are excited to be part of Oji, and we are in the process of onboarding more soon," Sharma said.

"We are in final talks with a few VCs and will be closing our pre-seed round soon." said Garg.
