The Nothing Phone 3a series is officially launching in India on March 4. Ahead of the big day, Nothing has given us a sneak peek at the Pro version’s design. The teaser confirms a new look compared to previous models like the Phone 2a and 2a Plus. However, the standard 3a model might look different, as leaks suggest it will have a horizontal camera setup instead of the Pro’s L-shaped camera design.

One of the biggest upgrades this year would be the 50-megapixel periscope camera in the Nothing Phone 3a Pro. The phone is also expected to support 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and a crazy 60x hybrid "Ultra" zoom. The company is also promising impressive macro shots. The regular Phone 3a model, however, won’t get a periscope lens, making the Pro version a much better choice for zoom photography.

Pricing details haven’t been officially confirmed, but leaks suggest that the Nothing Phone 3a could start at around Rs 30,000, while the Pro version may be priced under Rs 40,000. In Europe, the prices are EUR 349 (Rs 31,600) for the 3a and EUR 479 (Rs 43,400) for the Pro. The Indian pricing is usually lower than Europe, so expect slightly cheaper rates when the phone launches.

Both Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro are rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a solid mid-range processor. The battery is expected to be 5,000mAh, which should offer great battery life. No details on fast charging yet, but since previous Nothing phones supported fast charging, we might see something similar.

Nothing will feature its signature semi-transparent design and Glyph Interface, which means the phone will still have those unique LED lights on the back. The display is expected to be a 6.72-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and deep blacks. The Pro version might have extra display features, but Nothing hasn’t confirmed that yet.

While the Phone 3a Pro gets the periscope lens, the regular Phone 3a will still have a solid camera setup. It is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, 4x lossless zoom, and 30x ultra zoom. These details are based on leaks, so take them with a pinch of salt until the official launch.
