After a gap of almost two years, UK-based smartphone brand Nothing is set to succeed its Nothing Phone 2 smartphone with the launch of the Nothing Phone 3 in the coming weeks. As we wait for the formal reveal, the company has now teased the rear design of the Phone 3. It also suggests a minimalist industrial aesthetic design, which could come without the company’s signature Glyph lights.

Nothing Phone 3: Expected design, specifications

Through a new post on the social media platform X, Nothing shared a teaser image of its upcoming Phone 3, accompanied by the caption ‘ultra-precise engineering.’ It provides a partial view of the rear design of the smartphone. The brand has already teased that with the Phone 3, it will likely drop its traditional Glyph interface, and this teaser image reaffirms this claim.

The Glyph interface was one of the key design elements that made Nothing phones visually stand out from their competitors. However, with the upcoming Nothing Phone 3, the company is tipped to introduce a new camera structure and a whole new modular approach in its rear panel.

The Nothing Phone 3 will be introduced on July 1 and is expected to be equipped with a flagship chipset. Further, some reports have suggested that its battery capacity will be more than 5,000mAh, and the phone will have a triple rear camera unit with a main, ultrawide, and a telephoto periscope lens. It is also likely to come with Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.0 out of the box.
