UK-based smartphone brand Nothing has been teasing its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone 3, in the last few weeks, with a scheduled launch on July 1. The company has been putting a huge emphasis on its transparent hardware design language for all of its previous smartphones. However, a new leaked render of the phone's back panel reveals that the Phone 3 could be without the brand’s signature Glyph interface, and an asymmetrical triple rear camera unit.

A leaked render of the Nothing Phone 3 via tipster Max Jambor shows the updated design of the Nothing Phone 3. It retains the company’s usual transparent look, but also comes with a major change. The circular rear camera module is placed centrally towards the top of the panel, and the three camera sensors are placed asymmetrically on a slightly raised surface, with no evidence of Glyph lights.

As revealed by Nothing itself that the Glyph Interface has been killed, the render reveals that there are no visible lights on the back of the Nothing Phone 3, with the phone expected to introduce a rumored dot matrix-style design. Further, the volume rocker appears on the left edge, and the right edge can be seen housing the power button and another button, which could be the AI-powered Essential Key.

Previous reports suggested that the Nothing Phone 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC or last year’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Additionally, the handset could house a battery capacity larger than 5,000mAh, and is teased to have a starting price of $799 (around Rs 68,000).
