Mygate introduces Lock Pro 2.0 with a built-in door sensor: Price, features, and more

Mygate, India’s leading security and community management platform, has unveiled its latest smart lock, the Lock Pro 2.0. It is one of the most advanced digital smart locks available in the company's lineup, offering a built-in door sensor designed to make everyday living more intuitive and secure. Moreover, the Lock Pro 2.0 is compatible with both the Mygate Smart Devices App and the Mygate Community App, giving users the flexibility to manage their home security with multiple apps.

Mygate Lock Pro 2.0: Price, availability

The Mygate Lock Pro 2.0 is available in two elegant colour options. The Obsidian Black model is available for an introductory price of Rs 29,990, and the Sunset Copper colour variant is available for Rs 32,990. MyGate also promises a free installation with every purchase and a 3-year warranty with this lock. Users will get access to a Wi-Fi Gateway for seamless remote access from the Mygate app.

It is now available to purchase from Amazon and the Mygate app. It is compatible with wooden doors that have a 35mm–65mm thickness.

Mygate Lock Pro 2.0: Features

The Mygate Lock Pro 2.0 comes with an advanced door sensor that provides instant alerts when the door is opened, closed, or is left open for a prolonged period. It can be unlocked through six different ways, which include: Fingerprint, PIN, access through the Mygate app, OTP, RFID access card, or a physical mechanical key. Moreover, the device also supports an Auto-Lock feature, which secures the door after a defined period of inactivity.

Mygate promises a long 10 to 12 months battery life with the Lock Pro 2.0, and it will also provide timely alerts for low battery life via the app and lock display. Even if the battery is fully drained, the lock can be jump-started by attaching a power source through the lock’s USB Type-C port. It also allows up to 100 fingerprint logins, which is useful for users who want to provide access to multiple workers or family members. Users can also share one-time, recurring, or time-bound digital keys through WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
