Motorola has already launched four Edge 50 smartphones this year and is gearing up to launch a new entrant in the series next week. Through a teaser video post on social media platform X, Motorola announced the arrival of a new phone on August 29. The teaser video also suggests the inclusion of a Sony LYTIA primary camera and Pantone colour shades for the upcoming phone.

Multiple other X reports and European retailer listings reveal that this upcoming smartphone could be the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. A Hungarian listing also reveals that the upcoming phone will be available in four shades, such as Pantone Nautical Blue, Pantone Latte, Pantone Poinciana, and Pantone Grisaille.

The listing further reveals that the Edge 50 Neo will have 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. It is also touted to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, with Android 14 out of the box. The Edge 50 Neo’s rear camera setup may include a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support. The device is expected to be backed by a 4,310mAh battery with 68W TurboPower charging support.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo with model numbers XT2409-3 was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site recently, which also suggests that an Indian launch is imminent.
