Motorola's upcoming smartphone, Moto G56, has been in the rumour mill for quite some time now, and now the brand itself has managed to mistakenly list it on its websites in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. A publication has spotted the smartphone on the company’s regional websites, and it has confirmed the device’s launch date and a few other key details.
Motorola Moto G56 5G: Expected launch date, specifications
A NieuweMobiel report mentions that the Moto G56 5G was briefly listed on the brand’s Czech and Slovak official websites ahead of its anticipated debut on May 29. The listing confirms that the device will be available in Pantone Black Oyster, Pantone Dazzling Blue, Pantone Grey Mist, and Pantone Dill colour options.
Further, the smartphone is expected to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage, which would be expandable up to 2TB via an SD card. In terms of optics, it is likely to come with a 50 MP Sony Lytia LYT-600 primary rear camera sensor and a 32 MP selfie camera. Further, the listing indicates that the Moto G56 5G will have a screen with an 87% screen-to-body ratio and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Additionally, the G56 will likely have a 5,200mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Previous reports claimed that the Moto G56 5G is expected to be priced at €250 (around Rs 24,000) for the sole 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage configuration. However, like its predecessor, the Moto G55, it’s highly unlikely to launch in India.
