Meizu has announced the Note 16 series in the Chinese market, consisting of the Note 16 and Note 16 Pro. Both devices are powered by the company’s latest operating system, the Flyme AIOS 2, which is based on Android 15, and feature impressive 6.78-inch displays with big battery packs.

Meizu Note 16 series: Price

The Meizu Note 16 Pro has a starting price of CNY 1,499 (around Rs 17,000) for the base model with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB +512GB RAM and storage variants are priced at CNY 1,699 (around Rs 20,000), CNY 1,899 (around Rs 22,000), and CNY 2,099 (around Rs 24,000), respectively. It comes in Cloud White, Light Boat Blue, and Star Chaser Gray colour options.

The standard Meizu Note 16 is priced at CNY 799 (around Rs 8,000) for the base 8GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB variant is available for CNY 999 (around Rs 11,000), while the 12GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 1,199 (around Rs 14,000). It is available in Child Red, Rock Black, and Snow White colour options. Both smartphones are now available to pre-order in China and will go on sale from May 16.

Starting with the Meizu Note 16 Pro first, it sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 4500 nits of peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. For cameras, it has a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide dual camera setup while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. The Meizu Note 16 Pro has a 6,200mAh battery with 80W wired charging support.

On the other hand, the Meizu Note 16 comes with a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,050 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by a Unisoc T8200 paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. For photography, the Note 16 includes a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, with an 8MP selfie camera, like the Note 16 Pro. However, it has a larger 6,600mAh battery that supports 40W charging.
