Made by Google 2025 event: From Pixel 10 series to new watch and buds, everything Google announced
Google has officially unveiled its latest lineup of hardware and AI-powered experiences at the Made by Google 2025 event, kicking off the fall tech season. Headlined by the Pixel 10 series, the showcase also featured the Pixel Watch 4, updated Pixel Buds, and Google’s long-awaited MagSafe rival, Pixelsnap. Alongside devices, the event highlighted how Google is weaving AI deeper into daily experiences, from photography to real-time translation.
Pixel 10: Flagship reimagined The Pixel 10 arrives as Google’s most advanced non-Pro model yet. For the first time, it gets a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, alongside a 48MP wide and 13MP ultrawide camera setup. Thanks to computational photography, it can deliver up to 20x zoom quality. Powered by the Tensor G5 chip, which is 34% faster than last year’s G4, the Pixel 10 introduces Gemini Nano AI running locally for 20+ generative AI experiences. With a 3,000-nit Actua display, 30+ hours of battery life, and a refreshed Material 3 UI, it starts at Rs 79,990 in India and launches on August 28 in Obsidian, Frost, Lemongrass, and Indigo.

Pixel 10 Pro & Pro XL: Bigger, brighter, better The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL take Google’s photography game to new heights with a 50MP wide, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP 5x telephoto lens system — touted as Google’s best camera setup yet. With 16GB RAM, Super Actua displays offering up to 3,300 nits HDR brightness, and faster charging (45W for the XL), these models are built for power users. They also introduce 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging, a first in smartphones. Prices begin at Rs 1,09,999 for the Pro and Rs 1,24,999 for the Pro XL, shipping August 28.

Pixelsnap: Google’s MagSafe answer All Pixel 10 devices now support Qi2 wireless charging, but Google added its own twist with Pixelsnap, a new ecosystem of magnetic accessories. From cases to charging stands, this brings seamless magnetic charging and mounts — similar to Apple’s MagSafe, but tuned for the Pixel experience.

AI everywhere: Gemini powers the Pixel Google doubled down on AI-first smartphones. Features like Magic Cue proactively surface relevant info (like flight details while on a call), while Camera Coach guides users in real time for better photography. Tools like Conversational Editing allow natural language photo edits, and Voice Translate enables real-time translated calls in your own voice. Plus, the new Pixel Journal app uses AI prompts for journaling, staying private on-device.
Pixel Watch 4 & Pixel Buds 2a The Pixel Watch 4 introduces a 10% larger dome-style display, 40-hour battery, ECG and heart rhythm detection, and even emergency SOS when a heartbeat stops. Starting at $349, it launches October 9. Meanwhile, the Pixel Buds 2a bring ANC, Tensor A1 chip, AI features, and 10-hour playback (17 extra with the case). Priced at $130, they arrive the same day. Updates to Pixel Buds Pro 2 add smart volume, loud-noise protection, and gesture controls
