Indian smartphone brand Lava has launched the Yuva Smart 2, which is the latest entrant in the brand’s affordable Yuva series. An octa-core Unisoc chipset powers the phone and runs on Android 15 Go Edition, which is a watered-down version of Android to run devices with weaker chipsets. Moreover, the Yuva Smart 2 is positioned as the entry point device for first-time smartphone users.
Lava Yuva Smart 2: Price, availability
The price of the new Lava Yuva Smart 2 has been set in India at Rs 6,099 for the sole model with 3GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The phone will be offered in Crystal Blue and Crystal Gold colour shades. Like other Lava smartphones, the company will offer doorstep service for the handset across India. However, the firm has not yet revealed the availability details of the Yuva Smart 2.

The Lava Yuva Smart 2 sports a 6.75-inch display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Unisoc 9863a chipset and features 3GB of RAM, which can be expanded by up to 3GB using virtual RAM (through unutilised storage). In terms of optics, the Lava Yuva Smart 2 carries a 13MP AI dual-rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.
Further, the Yuva Smart 2 comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 10W wired charging through a USB-C port. It runs on the Android 15 Go operating system. The phone also gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock for security.
