Lava International has launched the Lava Shark, an entry-level smartphone in India. The device features a 50MP AI rear camera, a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,999 and will go on sale later this month via both online and offline retail channels across the country.

Lava Shark features a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the UNISOC T606 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB RAM and an additional 4GB virtual RAM. The phone has 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB.
The device includes a 50MP AI rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Camera features include AI Mode, Portrait, Pro Mode, and HDR. It runs on Android 14 and has a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Additional features include a side fingerprint sensor, face unlock, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac. The phone has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
