Lava launches Prowatch V1 smartwatch with 2.5D GPU animation engine, assisted GPS, and IP68 rating

Lava International’s accessory sub-brand Prowatch has introduced the Prowatch V1, its second-generation smartwatch. The V1 smartwatch features a 2.5D GPU Animation Engine and offers health, fitness, and connectivity enhancements. The smartwatch is designed to appeal to buyers in the sub-Rs 3,000 price segment and will be available in four color variants with multiple strap combinations.

Price in India
The Prowatch V1 is priced at Rs 2,399 for models with silicone straps. Premium options with metal straps are priced at Rs 2,699 and Rs 2,799, depending on the variant.

Availability
The Prowatch V1 is available across retail outlets in India starting January 2025. The smartwatch comes in six variants, including options with silicone and metal straps, offering buyers flexibility in style and usage.

Specifications
The V1 features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390x450 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The octagonal design is paired with strap options in Peachy Hikari, Black Nebula, Bluish Ronin, and Mint Shinobi. Powered by the Realtek 8773 chipset, the smartwatch supports Bluetooth v5.3 for seamless connectivity and includes Assisted GPS for location tracking. It includes the VC9213 sensor and supports over 110 sports modes for activity tracking. The IP68 rating ensures water resistance. The 2.5D GPU Animation Engine enhances interface transitions, complemented by a high-resolution display for improved visuals.
