Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Design The Blaze AMOLED 2 follows Lava’s recent design language with a flat-edged frame, a large rear camera module, and clean back finishes in Feather White and Midnight Black. The white variant reflects light subtly, avoiding overly glossy patterns while still looking distinctive. The phone feels surprisingly light at 174 grams given its 5000mAh battery capacity, and at 7.55mm thick, it’s comfortable for one-handed use for longer stretches. The build uses a polycarbonate frame and back panel, which is expected at this price, but the finish helps avoid it feeling overly cheap.

There’s no headphone jack here, which might be a drawback for wired audio users, but stereo speakers are present. The USB Type-C port at the bottom handles charging and OTG connections, while the SIM tray uses a hybrid slot, letting you choose between dual 5G SIM cards or a single SIM with microSD expansion up to 1TB. The phone’s buttons have a firm, responsive feel, and the absence of unnecessary branding on the front keeps the overall look clean.
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Display
3/9
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Display
The display is where the Blaze AMOLED 2 sets itself apart from many budget devices. It features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a punch-hole camera cutout, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color depth. Lava claims 100% NTSC and 95% DCI-P3 coverage, which in daily use translates to rich, well-saturated colors without looking overly boosted. Brightness peaks at around 1000 nits under high APL (average picture level) conditions, and while not at flagship levels, it’s usable outdoors for reading and general navigation. Under direct sunlight, text remains legible, though you’ll still notice some glare.

The higher refresh rate benefits scrolling and UI animations, giving the interface a smoother feel. Widevine L1 certification ensures that full HD playback is supported on major streaming platforms. Combined with stereo speakers, watching videos on this device feels more premium than what the segment usually offers. The speakers reach a respectable volume without distorting at higher levels, although they lean towards mids and highs, lacking some low-end depth.
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Performance

Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Performance
Powering the Blaze AMOLED 2 is the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor built on a 6nm process, paired with 6GB of physical RAM and the option to add another 6GB virtually. Internal storage is set at 128GB, and the expandable memory support is a practical addition. The chipset is positioned in the lower mid-tier, and while it’s not aimed at heavy gaming, it handles most day-to-day applications without noticeable lag. Multitasking between social media, messaging, and streaming apps feels fluid, and animations benefit from the high refresh rate.                                                                                                                      - Gaming performance is modest. Casual games run well, but graphically intensive titles require lowering settings for smooth frame rates. The phone remains relatively cool under load, with no major thermal throttling during extended use. Network performance is a highlight — with dual 5G SIM support, VoNR, ViNR, DSS, and carrier aggregation all present. Call quality is clear on both ends, and 5G speeds are consistent when coverage is available.
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 software

Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 software
The phone runs Android 15 out of the box, with a promised upgrade to Android 16 and two years of software support. Lava keeps the interface close to stock Android, which means minimal pre-installed apps and no heavy UI skin. Navigation feels intuitive, and gestures work without delay. The clean interface also benefits long-term performance, as there’s less background activity from bloatware.
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Cameras

Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Cameras
- The Blaze AMOLED 2 opts for a simple dual-camera setup on the back — a 50MP primary sensor accompanied by a QVGA camera. On the front, there’s an 8MP shooter housed in the punch-hole cutout. In daylight, the main camera produces detailed shots with natural colour reproduction. HDR kicks in effectively to balance shadows and highlights, although fine details in foliage or textured surfaces can soften when zoomed in. Low-light performance is acceptable for the price bracket, with Night Mode helping brighten scenes without adding excessive noise, though sharpness does drop.
- Video recording maxes out at 2K at 30fps, with decent stability in well-lit environments. The front camera handles selfies adequately for social media, and the screen flash helps in dim conditions. Lava includes multiple camera modes like Portrait, Pro, Film, and AI enhancements, along with features such as GIF creation and dual-view video. While these are not all professional-grade tools, they do provide flexibility for casual shooting.
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Battery life and charging
8/9
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Battery life and charging
Battery performance is one of the Blaze AMOLED 2’s strong points. The 5000mAh cell easily lasts a full day of mixed usage, and lighter users can stretch it into a second day. Streaming video, browsing, and moderate gaming leave enough reserve to avoid charging anxiety. Lava claims 50% charge in under 35 minutes, and in real-world testing, the included 33W charger delivers close to those numbers, reaching full charge in around 80 minutes. This is competitive in the segment and ensures minimal downtime. The battery drain on standby is minimal.

Verdict
The Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 is an affordable 5G phone with a premium display, clean software, and good battery life, suitable for everyday tasks. It features stereo speakers and a 120Hz AMOLED screen, with a lightweight build and promised software updates. There are some trade-offs such as camera performance in dark conditions. But for those who are looking at an affordable phone with AMOLED display, clean software and a balance of performance and battery life, the Lava Blaze AMOLED2 is a good option to go with.
