Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, the latest medieval action role-playing game, has launched on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). Warhorse Studios, the Czech game developer of the open-world RPG, has made the game available in two editions: Standard and Gold. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Standard Edition

The Standard Edition of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 includes just the base game, with no extra content or in-game cosmetic items.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Gold Edition

The Gold Edition of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is the deluxe version of the action RPG and includes the base game as well as the Shields of Seasons Passing item set, the Gallant Huntsman Kit and three unreleased expansions called Brushes With Death, Legacy of the Forge and Mysteria Ecclesiae.

The Shields of Seasons Passing item set is available now and adds four unique shield designs for you to customise your shield.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Choosing the best game edition

If you are someone who is totally new to the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance games (which means you haven’t played 2018’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance), it would be better to start off with the Standard Edition of the game. Later on, if you want more of the game, you could always buy the Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Expansion Pass separately, which gives you the Shields of Seasons Passing custom shield set and the three additional questlines/expansions: Brushes With Death, Legacy of the Forge and Mysteria Ecclesiae.

The three expansions of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are yet to be released. Brushes With Death is scheduled to launch in the April - June 2025 period, Legacy of the Forge is set to come out in July - September 2025 and Mysteria Ecclesiae is expected to be released in October - December 2025.
