iPhone users, here’s how to see time taken to fully charge your device
Apple’s iOS 26 is bringing a subtle but incredibly useful feature to iPhones — real-time charging time estimates. Now in beta, this addition takes the guesswork out of how long your iPhone will take to hit 100%, whether you’re fast-charging before a night out or casually topping up at your desk. Here’s how it works:
Live Charging Time in Battery Settings iOS 26 now shows a live countdown of how many minutes remain until your iPhone is fully charged. You’ll find it in Settings > Battery, right next to the charging indicator, displayed as “XXm.” It’s a small but practical update for managing your charging cycles efficiently.

Instantly Spot Slow Chargers If you’ve ever wondered whether your charger is delivering optimal power, this feature clears that up. A long charge time indicates a slower adapter, while a fast charger will reflect a quicker countdown — making it easy to know when to upgrade your cables or adapters.

Charging Info on the Lock Screen Your Lock Screen isn’t left out. iOS 26 will display time estimates for reaching 80% charge when your iPhone is low on battery. Plus, if you’re using a slow adapter, it’ll notify you right on the Lock Screen, saving you from surprises.

Post-Charge Details Now Visible After unplugging, the Battery settings will show you how long ago your iPhone was last charged and to what percentage. It’s a nifty addition for keeping track of your device’s battery health and usage patterns.
