The problems extend to wireless CarPlay, which relies on Wi-Fi. Drivers have reported laggy performance, skipped audio, and connection drops while using the system. Bluetooth devices, including AirPods and third-party accessories, are also experiencing random dropouts.

A recurring pattern in the complaints suggests the issues appear when users wear and unlock an Apple Watch. In such cases, unlocking the iPhone triggers a momentary loss of Wi-Fi connectivity, which interrupts both Bluetooth and CarPlay sessions.
